Make A DIY Garden Apron by Reusing Your Old Jeans
Jeans are very hip and classy to wear. They have many cuts and designs to choose from, ranging from loose to skinny jeans. But what do you do with those old pair of jeans in your closet? Instead of disposing them, why not repurpose them and create a very useful apron for gardening?
Gardening requires you to get down and dirty. You need to prepare the soil, plant seeds, water the plants, trim and do everything else that needs to be done. These activities will result in your clothes getting really dirty. To minimize dirt buildup, you can wear an apron and your old jeans can help you with this purpose!
Not only is a jean apron sturdy, it can also store your tools, seeds and any other gardening material in the pockets. So if you have some used jeans that you don’t wear anymore, don’t throw them away! Recycle them to create this cool and handy garden apron.
To do this, you will need your old jeans and a pair of scissors. Check out CHOW’s video below for more details.
