Your Guide to Making Compost at Home
Want the best compost possible for your home garden? You can easily make it yourself using these easy composting tips!
For the best results, use compost-friendly materials like coffee grounds, grass clippings and vegetable scraps. You may also use certain materials that require special handling. Items such as non-recyclable cardboard, wood chips and nut shells are some examples, but they don’t break down easily so you need to be more patient with them.
Some organic materials like cat litter, bones, and fish scraps must never be used for composting so avoid them at all costs. To find out more about the items you should and should not compost, go ahead and view this image below.
