Want to Plant Carrots in Containers? Here’s How!

Having a hard time growing your organic carrots in a container? Some home gardeners have also gone through the same situation as you. Although carrots grow well in containers, there may be times that they don’t because of factors like lack of water and sunlight, extreme weather conditions, and the type of soil being used.

Heavy clay soil doesn’t get along well with carrots. It will only bring disaster and damage to the crops. Once that happens, you’ll have to start all over again. Carrots actually prefer moist, looser soil. Using some mulch can also hold back moisture and keep weeds down.

Organic carrots are often grown outdoors in warm climates, but it’s also possible to grow them indoors especially if you live in a colder region. So long as you meet their basic growing requirements, your carrots will thrive well for sure.
